Support Dad's Battle Against Brain Cancer
Donation protected
I never imagined this would be the story I’d have to share, but I’m grateful to have a space to tell the challenging journey my father is about to embark on. My dad is our warrior, our hero, and our entire world.
On Monday, March 10th, he went to the emergency room in Fond du Lac, where we feared he might be having a stroke. Thanks to the thorough investigation by our amazing nurse practitioner and the doctors at Aurora, we learned that he actually had a large brain tumor pressing against his skull. To ensure he received the best care, it was decided that he would be transported by ambulance to Froedtert in Milwaukee.
Upon arrival, multiple doctors conducted various tests, and the first step was to schedule surgery to remove the tumor. My dad had an outstanding medical team that successfully removed the tumor on March 17th. Surviving the surgery and showing his warrior spirit was just the first step. Now, we face a bigger journey. The tumor was tested and unfortunately came back as cancer. This marks the beginning of our new path. My father will begin daily radiation and chemotherapy treatments at Froedtert for six weeks.
Because of these unexpected challenges, I’m raising funds to help cover the costs of his brain surgery, recovery in the ICU, chemotherapy, radiation, travel expenses, and the unexpected bills that will follow. If you know my mom or dad, you know they would do anything for anyone, and they would move heaven and earth for their kids. My brother and I now find ourselves navigating the delicate balance of supporting and loving our dad unconditionally, while witnessing both the pain and hope in our parents’ eyes.
During this time, I’m asking for any help you can offer. Thank you for taking the time to read this and share. I’ll keep you updated as we continue this journey.
Dad is our warrior!

Update
Dad has been diagnosed with a glioblastoma, a highly aggressive brain tumor. That being said, he is our one in a million, and we know he will fight this like no one else. After Easter, he will start radiation and chemotherapy, and we're also hopeful he'll be considered for a clinical trial for this specific type of brain cancer. Dad is our warrior, our light, and our survivor.
We are incredibly grateful for all the support you're giving in spreading his story!
