Everyone knows someone who's gone through cancer. Some of us know someone who's gone through it more than once. Unfortunately, and with a heavy heart, my Significant other's mother announced that she was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer with bone metastasis. For anyone who knows Carla, she is a strong woman who's already beaten cancer, raised four boys and provided for her family the best she could. Since I've known her, Carla has gone above and beyond to take care of everyone in her life and never asks for help. We all have heard the horror stories of the financial burden this disease has on patients and their families. Carla will be on a very limited income while she is receiving treatment. Any little bit helps and is very much appreciated. We thank all of you for taking the time to read this, as this is very hard for her, for all of us to accept and deal with.
