Our dear friend, Karen, and her family ( teenage son, husband, and the dogs) have recently suffered major losses due to the devastating Northern California Camp Fire. Their home and Karen’s businesses were completely destroyed. While they are safe (temporarily) in Chico, we are trying to rally around her by providing immediate funds to help them get back on their feet. We want her to have access to the money as soon as possible so she can use it for shelter, food, and clothing. As you can imagine, everything is up in the air right now, so we are hoping this will at least give her a little peace of mind. I’ll continue to update you on her situation. * Karen is a creative, caring, and strong person. I've had the pleasure of knowing her since childhood. She's an amazing stylists, a Huge animal lover and activist, and she loves her work with special needs children.
