I'm writing to you from my bed in Chester County Hospital. I recently had an infection that caused a major flair up with my muscles. I'm in a lot of pain now and mobility will be limited in the short term. 

I have had to move home because of this illness. I've lost my work, my home, and the ability to drive. My insurance is not in a rush to allow me immunoglobulin transfusions. This procedure would let my myositis be treated more aggressively and stop me from being so ill all the time. As it stands, I currently have 3-4 GI bugs a month, often with ongoing respiratory infections. This is tiring. Being this sick is a full time job and I'm unable to work. I have a ton of medical debt even though I've fundraised previously. Moreover, I'd just like some freedom. The money just to go visit a friend would make me slightly less hopeless.
