In June of this year, our dad received devastating news - he has diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Since then, he has undergone several procedures and been placed on multiple medications in hopes of stopping the cancer from spreading.

In September, he began a rigorous round of chemotherapy and radiation. The aggressive form of cancer requires radiation therapy every weekday, Monday through Friday. Despite his strength and determination, the treatments have taken a toll not only on him but also on our family's finances. Because of current gaps in state and federal support and the limitations of private insurance, the mounting medical bills have become overwhelming.

Anyone who knows our dad has been fortunate enough to see his kindness, generosity, and how he's always the first to lend a helping hand or a comforting word. He has spent his life caring for others, and now, we are asking for help caring for him.

Any contributions, no matter the size, will go directly toward his medical expenses and help ease the financial strain so he can focus on healing.

En junio de este año, nuestro papá recibió una noticia devastadora: le diagnosticaron una forma rara de cáncer. Desde entonces, ha pasado por varios procedimientos y ha sido puesto bajo múltiples medicamentos con la esperanza de detener la propagación del cáncer.

En septiembre, comenzó una intensa ronda de quimioterapia y radiación. La forma agresiva de cáncer requiere terapia de radiación todos los días de lunes a viernes. A pesar de su fortaleza y determinación, los tratamientos han tenido un impacto no solo en él, sino también en las finanzas de nuestra familia. Debido a las brechas actuales en el apoyo estatal y federal y a las limitaciones del seguro privado, las facturas médicas se han vuelto abrumadoras.

Quien conoce a nuestro papá ha tenido la fortuna de ver su amabilidad, generosidad y cómo siempre es el primero en ofrecer una mano o una palabra de consuelo. Ha dedicado su vida a cuidar de los demás, y ahora, nosotros pedimos ayuda para cuidarlo a él.

Cualquier contribución, sin importar el tamaño, irá directamente a sus gastos médicos y ayudará a aliviar la carga financiera para que él pueda enfocarse en sanar.
