Hi my name is Sam Herrera and I am a friend to the Milian family. If you know the Milian's the are the most loving, giving, sweetest family I have ever met. From church events, to volleyball tourments, and Juniors classes, the Milian's has always been there. My relationship with Carlos goes back to my adolence age to playing basketball as a "bumblebee's" to watching him fall in love with Rosa. As we grew so did his love with Rosa and their little family with the beautful twins, to a handsome Caleb and the little princess Lauren.
As parents I witiness them grow and experience life as like most of us have. A few years ago they received the worst news that parents don't want to hear that their little loving perfect Caleb had brain cancer.
Within the year Caleb became my hero by fighting cancer with his loving smile and even though his body struggled and fought on. He was determine to beat whatever came his way. He bravely brought hope to all of us. Even after chemo the cancer came back and it still didn't beat him. We might not understand the Lord's plan but the Lord decided to carry this sweet angel back into his presence.
As a father it breaks my heart that this loving family has to go through something so horrible and as a friend I wanted to help. They should be planning Caleb's last moments and not worry about money. If you have it in heart to donate every $1 goes a far away. They have given so much to us and to the church lets gve back to them.
