My name is Sam and I’m asking to help raise funds for my brother, Tyler Jamon.

On Saturday, December 23rd, Tyler was fighting severe asthma attacks and was able to call 911 before falling unconscious. For the past nine days, he has been incubated and on a ventilator in the ICU at Yale New Haven Hospital. He has also been put on ECMO, which helps control his CO2 levels.

Gradually, his vitals have begun to improve. His heart, brain, lungs and other organs have also become stable enough to remove the ECMO and the ventilator.

We do not know how long he will be at Yale. His doctors have informed us that the road to recovery will be long, and will include major lifestyles changes for Tyler.

As of now, it is unknown how long Tyler will be unable to work. Any and all of your generous donations, no matter how big or small, will help Tyler tremendously in paying for his rent, car payment, medical bills and in taking care of his beloved dog, Bear.
