On May 24, 2022, Anthony was diagnosed with stage IV chronic kidney disease, and after a long journey, he was placed on the transplant list on August 2023. Anthony has always shown incredible strength and resilience, refusing to let his diagnosis define him. He’s a dedicated student at Alta Loma High School, active in ASB, Link Crew, and sports like football and baseball. To know Anthony is to love him—his positive spirit and determination inspire everyone around him.
On July 27, 2025, my sister received the call we had been hoping for: a kidney match was found. Anthony underwent his transplant the next day and is now home, beginning his recovery. This period is challenging, with 2-3 weekly trips to Loma Linda for post-op appointments and a complex medication schedule. My sister is his full-time caregiver, unable to work during Anthony’s recovery, while also caring for his little sister Jazzy. The emotional and logistical stress is significant, but she remains hopeful and focused on Anthony’s healing.
I’m asking for support to help my sister cover travel expenses, medical needs, and living costs during this critical time. Every donation and share of Anthony’s story brings her closer to stability and allows her to focus on his recovery. We are deeply grateful for your kindness and generosity, and for helping them through this financial hardship.
