Natalie Chi World University Games

My name is Natalie Chi, and I am a 17-year-old student-athlete. I’ve been playing badminton since I was 8 years old and have been on Team USA for 5 years. I am also the 2021 Junior National Champion and a 5-time Junior Pan Am Champion. This fall, I’m attending college as an EECS student at UC Berkeley, but I will continue to train and play badminton.

Recently, I qualified for the 2022 World University Games in Chengdu, China in the Women Singles and Mixed Doubles events. I look forward to the opportunity to compete against the top student-athletes of the world and make friends with other players.

Additionally, I will represent Team USA in the 2022 Uber Cup held in Bangkok, Thailand in May and compete at the 2022 World Junior Championships held in Spain in October. This summer, I plan to train in Europe or Asia to prepare for my future Olympic Dream. Any generous help will be greatly appreciated in helping me reach my goal!
