Ramadan Mubarak.
Idarah Maruf is focusing this Ramadan on raising money towards Human Aid's East Africa Drought Appeal. Human Aid is present right NOW working hard in the most desperate of conditions in the intense summer heat. The people receiving the Aid are on the brink of death in the particular regions Human Aid is targetting. Aid workers have spoken of relinquishing their own food supplies in their preliminary travels before Aid arrived to help the people to just survive a few more hours.
Millions are at risk of starvation.
Hundreds of thousands have already perished.
These are OUR brothers and sisters who have been ignored by the world.
Please mobilise your communities to help raise awareness and funding for this desperate cause. Each new day is the difference between life and death for the people of Somalia, Ethiopia and Eritrea.
May Allah (swt) help them through this tragedy and live to see healthier, brighter days. May He (swt) cure them of disease and replenish their soils and livestock. O Allah place barakah in our intentions, time and money. Ameen.
