Hello everyone! I am so reluctant to be asking for help like this but I am in so much need and I really have to survive to take care of my “girls”!
I am 70 year old grandma and was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in September. I am undergoing chemo and the tumor has shrunk but my oncologist tells me I have a long way to go, this type of cancer is very treatable but very aggressive.
My daughter is permanently disabled with mental illness. She has had quite a lot of breakdowns and hospitalizations. She doesn’t work or drive a car and she is very emotional and depressed about me. Her daughter is 8 years old and counts on me to be stable and patient and take care of her and her mom.
We live together in a one bedroom apartment and I drive a 20 year old car that needs work.
I have racked up hospital bills of $876 and my share of cost for the chemo is $300 each time. I have chemo twice a month.
I don’t like asking like this, I have been an independent single Mom for so long, but I have to ask for help, my credit card is maxed out, my only family has given all they can so pride aside, my girls need me to live!
