My nephew, Russell Potts recently had a heart attack.
Russell is 23 years old, an electrician assistant, engaged to his high school sweetheart and a fairly new Florida resident. He’s such a loving, respectful, kind hearted young man.
Four years ago, at the young age of 19, Russell suffered a stroke and has an inoperable brain aneurysm. Even after receiving this news he continued to live life to the fullest, never take anything for granted.
On August 27, 2020, Russell was taken to an Emergency Room in Florida with chest pains and having difficulty breathing. Due to the Covid restrictions, he was there all by himself when he received the news. He had a heart attack and Pulmonary Embolism. He’s 23 !!!! How does this even happen to such a young man !
I’ve started this Go Fund Me account to help ease his and his fiancé Rachel’s financial burdens. Even though, Russell has a job he unfortunately does not have health insurance. He is under the care of a cardiologist and a Pulmonogist. His newly prescribed prescriptions are very expensive. As you can imagine the normal costs of every day living...such as rent, food, gas, car, etc....the new medical costs will be astronomical. (His parents are helping him find affordable health insurance but till he gets it the medical bills will keep on rising.)
