My name is Ryan Rybinski. I am a computer technician for A Better Computer Doctor in Sacramento, California.
I have been suffering from multiple compressed discs in my back causing very painful sciatica down my left leg for a year now.
The doctor thinks that my profession has caused it. - I drive places (sitting) and then fix computers and networks (more sitting) and then drive more places to do it again.
Covid almost killed my business. Now I am barely able to work because I can’t stand the pain of sitting and driving. I take handfuls of pills that make me feel a little better. Norco is the strongest and it works but it’s not fun. It’s also bad for my liver and my mental health in general.
I am raising money so I can get the procedure I need to fix my bulging disc’s & sciatica pain. It’s called Condoliase and it’s currently only available in Japan.
I only know this because I was in an FDA trial for it here in Sacramento. I was kicked out of the program one day before the procedure. The reason - My pain levels vary too much. Wow.
I have good insurance and can get surgery from Kaiser Permanente, but I will not let someone drill into my spine, and then be down and out of work for 2-3 months afterwards…Oh and it’s an 80% chance it works. Also a chance of a lifetime wheelchair. My dad did it and it made him worse.
In Japan it’s a 4 hour outpatient treatment. It’s a shot in the back with an 86% chance it works.
I need to get to Japan ASAP or this pain and nerve damage could become permanent!
If you can afford anything to help me get my back fixed I would sincerely appreciate it with all my heart.
I am trying to raise:
*$5000 for the travel expenses.
*$2400 for the procedure
*$1400 for the Japanese/English speaking Medical Coordinator
*About $1200 for the round trip tickets
*Another $1000 for the the hotels.
I also figure I need about $1000 for food, travel, essentials, etc.
That’s $7000-$8000 I need to pay out of pocket because the FDA hasn’t approved this procedure here YET.
I have some money saved but it’s getting stretched with not being able to work much and the crazy price of gas and everything else.
If you can afford anything or know someone that can…please help donate and share.
I know there are so many crazy and bad things going on in this world that may be more important. Please don’t stretch yourself too thin.
