Prayers For Marco

The Prayers for Marco campaign is set out to assist SSgt Alires and his family during a very difficult time. Wednesday September 13th, SSgt Alires suffered third degree burns in a training accident when the Amphibious Assault Vehicle he was traveling in was engulfed in flames aboard Marine Corps base Camp Pendleton. SSgt Alires has a tenacious attitude and is a man that will persevere. However, a principle that is taught as infantrymen, is that we will never leave a man behind. During this time, it is our duty to stand true to that principle. We must fight for him and his family during this time. All donations will be directly presented to his family. The United States Marine Corps and 1st Battalion 1st Marine Regiment are working diligently to assist all families affected by the accident.
