Priced out of paradise.

My hanai sister, my best friend Esther, is moving to Wisconsin in a couple of months. She has thought about this move for a long time and went back and forth contemplating what decision she should make, and ultimately, she is being forced to move. She has tried her very best to save and scrounge every penny for the move, but as many of you know, saving money in this economy, especially in Hawaii, is very challenging. Have you seen the price of milk and eggs here on the island?! She, as a single parent and sole provider for her son and dog-son, the high cost of rent, the low pay for her job, the high cost of food and necessities, has taken a toll, and she is being priced out of paradise. Moving your entire life to another state in the Continental USA is a very expensive venture! Costs for plane tickets, moving all belongings (although she has downsized and donated many items), and sending her car to Wisconsin, etc., is taking a toll on her limited finances, and she needs help.

I am setting up this GoFundMe for her so that she can make this trip happen without any hiccups, or even worse, not happen.

Whatever you can donate will be greatly appreciated, even if you think it's too little, it's not!

I will miss my sister so much... I will miss laughing with her, making fun of her, hugging her, going on adventures with her, and just being myself when she's around, but I am supportive of her and understand that if the math isn't mathing, and the numbers aren't adding up, you have to do what you have to do to survive. Please help me to help her!
