Hello,

My name is Julia, and I, along with my colleagues are creating this link for Shauna & Adam Cooper. In December of 2022 Adam was diagnosed with Covid, soon after his recovery from covid strange and alarming symptoms lingered. The main symptom being repeated fainting and a deficit in spacial awareness resulting in a car accident. After numerous doctor’s appointments he finally received his proper yet unfortunate diagnosis of stage four brain cancer (glioblastoma).

Since the devastating diagnosis Adam has since had to stop working and their family’s life has been turned upside down. He has tried chemo and radiation therapy but nothing has made the tumor smaller. Shauna and Adam have been together since they were teenagers (23 years) and have a teenage daughter. Shauna has not left his side, assisting him with everything as he has now become paralyzed on his right side and is bedridden. On top of this life changing diagnosis, obtaining treatments through HMO insurance has been a battle in itself. Many of the necessary appointments, treatments, and home health visits have been paid for out of pocket. Treatments, unfortunately, have not worked and he is now on hospice. This has immensely dwindled their life savings and puts their future at risk. Throughout this past year Shauna has not asked for help, but as you would expect this has taken a huge toll on her and we can see how this is affecting her.

We are asking for any support to provide to the Cooper family. Every donation will go to the Cooper’s to assist with medical expenses, and basic living expenses. Thank you so much.
