Carol Yaneff cancer fund

In November/December 2015, Carol Yaneff (John Yaneff’s wife) was diagnosed with a platelet disorder. Carol’s platelet levels vary each week. In order to keep her platelet level within a normal range, she is required to get weekly blood tests and take a particular shot. The shot for her platelets cost approximately $2,500.00 per week. Although insurance covers a portion of the injection, the co-pay itself is still expensive
Most recently, Carol was diagnosed with stage IV Colon and Liver Cancer. She has a large tumor in the upper part of her colon which spread to her liver. She has started chemotherapy and will continue with weekly treatments to slow down the progression of the cancer and it is unknown how long this will be needed. Carols children have started this page to help alleviate the stress of their current and upcoming medical expenses.
