Helping a friends mom

Hi everyone,

I’m raising funds for my close friend’s mom, who is struggling with serious neurological health issues. Her condition leaves her completely drained, mentally foggy, and often unable to stay awake or alert throughout the day. It’s heartbreaking to see how much it’s impacted her energy, independence, and overall well-being.

Her doctors have prescribed a treatment that could significantly improve her quality of life — restoring her energy, focus, and ability to function day to day. But unfortunately, it’s not covered by insurance, and the out-of-pocket cost is over $1,500 for just one month.

Her family is doing everything they can, but with my friend recently laid off, they’re in a tough spot. It’s not ideal to ask for help like this, but we’re hoping to raise enough to cover the first month of treatment so she can start as early as next week.

This is time-sensitive — the sooner she can begin, the sooner she’ll feel some relief and her doctors can reassess next steps.
