Well, I don't normally create a gofundme or anything for myself. A friend of mine recommended it since she thinks I deserved it. I'm Tyler and deaf. Many of you know I convicted a felony by turning myself in for Unarmed Robbery. Yes, it's one of the biggest decisions I ever regretted in my entire life. I accepted the punishment for the actions I did.
Everyday for 5 years I put my head up and be positive after so much rejections from jobs because of my felony. Flight Attendant for United Airline. Spartan Nash Company. Misterwater Works. I can go on to another 10 jobs opportunities that provide good beneficial to my needs.
Yes, I do regretted it everyday for pass 5 half years. It really impacts my life. The only hope I have is Starbucks. I got hired and the manager there are trying to convinces headquarter to hire me and proving that I am a good person.
The point is... I'm still trying my hardest everyday for 5 half years. Moving back to Michigan to save up my California dreams. It's time... I'm getting really tired of everything, and becoming more deprived, desperate, and dying to have an expungement. The sentences said up to 5 years and then expunged. It's been 5 half years. This whole situation has been haunting me. Jobless, no money for attorney to get expungement. My parents are dying to help but feeling terrible because of money situation. I feel bad for asking for help and I do understand.
On the other hand, I do understand if you think I should take care of it and it's my problem because of the actions I made. "Every criminal don't deserve a second chance." From where I stand with a felony in my background... I do understand how every first time offense criminals have to go through like what I did. My heart are always forever goes to them because I understand how they feel. They deserve a second chance and extra help as much I need. Many of them are good people. It's our Michigan's Justice System. It's a huge mess and I really hated it.
So I decided to give this a try. I found an Expungement attorney I really wanted, and hopefully I can get started really soon. The process takes 2 - 3 months to get it expunged. So I can take off to California for a better job and dreams with a clean background in December after Christmas. Celebrate 2018 over there. Right now, I'm really tying my hardest to find a job that will take my felony in and save up for California. A felony is preventing my career goal and California dreams. I don't know what else to say.
