Fiona Newport Macmillan Caring Locally Golf Day

On 19th June 2020 we lost our mum, wife, sister, daughter, auntie to cancer after she battled for almost ten years, keeping positive throughout. The last thing mum would have wanted was for us to stop and feel sad all the time, so we have decided to do something positive in mum's name.
Macmillan Caring Locally funds the Macmillan Unit, an independent Specialist Palliative Care Unit in Christchurch, Dorset. The charity supported mum throughout her illness and we would like to raise as much money as possible in order to support the charity to be there in future when families need them most.
On 3rd August, myself and 11 close friends and family will be completing our 72 hole challenge- 4 rounds of golf back to back in one day, which we hope to compete within 16 hours.
Parley Golf Centre have kindly agreed to support this event by allowing us free use of their golf course and have agreed to open the course earlier to allow us to tee off before 6am, meaning we'll hopefully finish before daylight fades.
If anyone knows of any local businesses that would like to support either by donating essentials like food or water, or financially, please put them in touch with me via gofundme.
The bar area will be open during the day and evening so please come down and give us some stick on the 9th while you have a beer which will support Parley Golf Centre who have amazingly allowed us access throughout the day.
