Support Hailey's Journey to Recovery

Our world turned upside down on August 10, 2025.

On August 10th at around 3:30pm, my sweet 3-year-old daughter, Hailey “GG”, was in a devastating car accident caused by someone I trusted. The car plunged into a lake in Spalding County, Georgia, and by the time first responders arrived, the vehicle was completely submerged with my baby trapped inside & the driver standing on top of the car not trying to help my child.

With courage and quick action, deputies and firefighters broke through the window and pulled her out. She was lifeless but after CPR and emergency care, they were able to bring her back. She was then airlifted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA), where I rushed to her side not knowing if she was alive.

Hailey survived, but her fight is far from over.

Doctors have confirmed that she sustained a severe brain injury. Right now, Hailey cannot talk, eat, or do anything on her own besides breathe. She will need extensive rehabilitation, medical care, and long-term support as she works to recover and rebuild her strength.

Despite the devil’s attempt to take her from us, my baby is proving to be stronger than anyone could imagine. She is fighting with everything she has  and I believe with time, prayers, and support, she will continue to defy the odds.

Why We’re Asking for Help

I never imagined having to create this fundraiser, but the reality is:

    •    Hailey’s rehabilitation and ongoing medical care will be extremely expensive.

    •    As a parent, my time is now dedicated to being by her side and navigating her recovery, which makes finances even more overwhelming.

    •    We want to give GG every possible resource and opportunity for healing.

Any funds raised will go toward:

    •    Hailey’s rehab and therapy programs

    •    Medical bills and equipment

    •    Transportation, lodging, and daily needs while supporting her care

    •    Long-term recovery support
