Doug Mace is an extraordinary Mathematics professor. 

This fall, Doug and his wife, Eadie along with their daughter Katie embarked on an adventure teaching Mathematics through the University of Maryland in Germany. Doug is currently on sabbatical from Kirtland Community College in Michigan. 

Unfortunately, in his first few days in Germany Doug suffered a stroke and has been in the hosptial ever since. Now, Doug and Eadie are faced with mounting medical bills, an uncertain return to the USA, and the possibility of paying for rehabilitation out of pocket in Germany. Doug is making good progress and the family is in good spirits, but they are understandably concerned about their impending return.
