Let us join hands for our beloved child HiyabEl, so that the light of his mind is not dimmed by the head injury he suffered. Our child’s name is HiyabEl, which translates to 'a gift from God' in English. He is a 12-year-old student, despite his school years being interrupted by his current condition. HiyabEl, who is currently in Ethiopia, suffered what seemed to be a minor accident but turned out to be severe and threatening for his future. In July 2025, while playing his favorite sport, soccer, together with his friends, an accidental kick of the ball by his own coach knocked him down to the uneven stone-dominated field. He hit the ground with his head, and suddenly, within an arc of two days, that accidental kick dared to interrupt the bright future that his entire family and those who knew him had eagerly anticipated. He did not feel severe pain immediately; therefore, no obvious injury was noticed. However, the following day, after getting out of bed, he staggered and fell, hitting the corner of his bed; an incident which worsened what was already starting to unfold unnoticed- internal bleeding in his head. He was immediately taken to the hospital, which resulted in a diagnosis of an abnormal swelling formed by the crystallization of the internal bleeding. Thanks to emergency medical treatment, he underwent surgery that cost approximately 5.2 million birr (roughly $30,000). This was entirely funded by close family members and compassionate acquaintances- not forgetting to mention that the owner of Hallelujah Hospital, an Ethiopian citizen by Earthly birth but heavenly brother by Christ, paid off a big chunk of it- about 2 million birr out of his own pocket. Afterward, he continued receiving medical attention, up until this day. The good news is that there is no damage to the internal structures of his head or his brain. However, because of this accident, he has developed serious external complications, like deterioration of his eyesight, vertebral scoliosis, and slow paralysis of his right hand. These conditions are deeply concerning for his future and have caused immense pain for us- his grief-stricken parents. There is not much that can be done, within the capability of the medical expertise in Ethiopia, to prevent these life-threatening developments. As a result, doctors referred him abroad to undergo further surgery. Despite all these hardships, there is hope: a specialized surgery that could free him from future disabilities is found in Germany. The only hurdle that remains is the financial burden that covers this surgery. The treatment costs **€47,000**. Therefore, dear compassionate friends and all those who care for people in need, we humbly appeal to you, for the sake of God's Mercy, to help us according to your means so that HiyabEl can receive the desired medical treatment, which hopefully will restore his deteriorating condition. ህጻን ህያብኤል ይሕደጎ ይብሃል። ወዲ 12 ዓመት ተመሃራይ እዩ። ኣብ’ዚ ግዜ’ዚ ኣብ ሃገረ ኢትዮጵያ ዝርከብ ህጻን ህያብኤል፡ ኣብ ሓምለ 2025 ምስ መሳትኡ ሓቢሩ ነቲ ዘፍቅሮ ስፖርታዊ ንጥፈታት ኩዑሶ እግሪ እናተጻወተ እንከሎ እዩ እዚ ሕጂ ገጢምዎ ዘሎ፡ ነቲ ምሉእ ስድራ-ቤትን ፈለጥትን ብዓቢ ሃንቀውታ ዝጽበይዎ ዝነበሩ መወዳእታ ፍርያት ብልሑ፡ ናብ ምቕሃም ዘመርሕ ሓደጋ ዘጋጠሞ። ከም ኩሉ ህጻን ኩዑሶ እግሪ እናተጻወተ ወዲቑ፣ ብቕጽበጥ ብዙሕ ቃንዛ ስለ ዘይፈጠረሉ ግን ዝኾነ ይኹን ስንብራት ኣይተራእዮን። ንጽባሒቱ ግን፡ ካብ ዓራት ተንሲኡ ሰንከልከል ድሕሪ ምባል፡ ወዲቑ ምስ’ቲ ዓራት ተናጎጸ፡ ነቲ ኣብ ውሽጢ ርእሱ ተፈጢሩ ዝጸንሐ ምፍሳስ ደም ዘጋድድ ኩነት ድማ ተፈጥሮ። ኣብ ውሽጢ ርእሱ ቅልጡፍን ካብ ንቡር ወጻኢ ዝኾነን ሕበጥ ተራእየ። ብዝተገብረሉ ህጹጽ ህክምናዊ ረድኤት ድማ፡ ካብ መቕርብ ስድራ-ቤትን ተደናጋጺ ወገናትን፡ ብጠቕላላ ናይ ኣስታት 5.2 ሚልዮን ብር ወጻኢታት ዝጠለበ ሕክምናዊ መጥባሕቲ ኣካይዱ። ብድሕሪ’ዚ ውን መድሃኒታት እናተቐለበ ሕክምናዊ ክንክን ክቕጽል ጸኒሑ። እቲ ጽቡቕ ዜና፡ ውሽጣዊ ኣካላት ርእሱን ሓንጎሉን ወላሓንቲ ማህሰይቲ ዘይምህላዉ’ዩ። እንተኾነ ግን፡ ብሰንኪ እዚ ወሪድዎ ዘሎ ሓደጋ፡ ደጋዊ ኣካላቱ፡ ንኣብነት፡ ኣዒንቱ ናብ ዑረት የምርሓ ምህላወን፡ ዓንዲ-ሕቑኡ እናተጠውየ ይኸይድ ምህላዉ፡ የማነይቲ ኢዱ ውን ትለምስ ምህላዋ፡ ንኹነታት መጻኢኡ ኣዝዩ ኣሻቓሊ፡ ንጓሂ ወለዱ ከኣ ኣዝዩ መሪር ከም ዝኸውን ይገብሮ ኣሎ። ኣብ ርእሲ’ዚ ኩሉ ጽዕነት እዚ፡ ዝለዓለ ሕክምናዊ መጥባሕቲ ተጌሩሉ ካብ ኩሉ ስንክልና ነጻ ዝገብሮ መንገዲ ኣብ ሃገረ ጀርመን ተረኺቡ እኳ እንተሃለወ፡ ዝጠልቦ ገንዘባዊ ዋጋ ግን ልዕሊ ዓቐን ስድርኡን መቕርብን ኮይኑ ኣሎ። 47,000 ኤውሮ! እምብኣርከስ ኩቡራት ተዳናገጽቲ ሽጉራትን ውጹዓትን፡ ነቲ ተሪፉ ዘሎ መስገደል ብሕክምናዊ ክንክን ንኽስገር፡ ነዚ ተሓቲቱ ዘሎ ገዚፍ ገንዘባዊ ዓቕሚ ንምሽፋን ዓዓቕምኹም ክትሕግዙና ብምሕረት ኣምላኽ ንምሕጸነኩም። ኣሜን!
