I sat here for 30 minutes trying to figure out what to write, after 2 weeks of friends telling me to do this here it goes. I don't like to ask for help, I work 2 jobs so that I can make ends meet on my own, However, for those who don't know me, I was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer. Thank God it was caught early, and hopefully surgery next week is all I will need to do to fight this monster. However, my Dr told me I need to be off from my full time job for at least 4 weeks and most likely 6 for my second job. Being a single mom with no help that is tough. To make it worse, my full time job doesn't offer any short term disability and being that I have been there under a year I have no paid time off. Somehow I have to find a way to pay our regular bills for at least 4 weeks in addition to my health insurance premium so that my coverage doesn't lapse. For anyone who is able to and chooses to help I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
