I am a 43 year old single mother of 2 minor children and 1 special needs adult. I've recently been diagnosed with stage IV cancer. I am currently in the planning phase and undergoing diagnostic testing to better formulate a plan. At this time the origin of the cancer is unknown. What is know is that it is metastatic and in my lymph nodes (multiple sites), right hip and femur head, upper bronchial, throat and neck. I have insurance coverage however, in the past two weeks I've already incurred over 4000 dollars of medical debt. I've been approved for disability through my job however that will not fully kick in for two more weeks and will not be enough to manage my house hold and rising medical expenses. Im a RN whose held multiple jobs the bulk of my adult life. Those who know me, know my funds have gone into my children with very little left over for planing for something like this. My eldest is autistic and middle child was born with brittle bones. I am unable to continue working due to increased weakness, fatigue, pain, dizziness, shortness of breath and frequent loss of coordination. So I'm asking for help to get me through until selling my current home and merging households with family to cut down with over head and help with care of me and my children.
