Liv Ello here, and I’m here to ask for some help to welcome in my thirties with an almighty ‘ello to gender euphoria and a Big Cheerio to the parts I never ordered.

This is a huge, life-affirming step, and I’m asking for a bit of help from my pals, community, and generous strangers to get there.

Working up to this fundraiser has taken time and courage. Like many trans folks, I’ve felt the discomfort and shame that can come with asking for support. Through growth and understanding, I’ve learnt that asking for help is an essential and vulnerable step in the many transitions we face in life, and I feel so grateful to be part of a community that holds each other through big transitions when systems fall short. I’m so lucky to be held with such kindness and care throughout this next step, and I hope to be able to continue to support others around me with the same generosity and compassion.
