damn the diabetes

Chancey is a type 1 diabetic with every possible complication you could imagine. He has stage 4 renal failure, peripheral neuropathy, ocular neuropathy, and has most recently lost his foot to a septic infection. He has been forced to miss a lot of work because of these complications and we're asking for help so we can pay our bills, prepare to buy a house, and catch up on a few things that have fallen to the wayside during these few years. He is a funny, smart, kind man who loves his family. He has young twin daughters who are very excited to help him recover from the foot amputation so he can play again. He will eventually be on the transplant list to receive both a kidney and a pancreas. Until then, we're getting through things one day at a time.
