Hello, my name is Marci Emery. A very close friend of mine, Mitchell "Mickey" Hammond needed a kidney transplant. After years of suffering through Stage 4 kidney failure, he found an amazing woman who was gracious enough to donate her kidney.
Right before Christmas, Dec. 17th to be exact, Mickey received a new kidney!!! But since this Mickey had to be admitted back into Cleveland Clinic due to a blood clot and pneumonia. His family, wife Linda, daughter Isabella & son Adam have been by his side every minute. This has caused many bills that they unfortunately don't have the money to pay. Mickey has been out of work for months and Linda is unable to work because he needs a lot of help so there is no money coming in at the moment.
The money raised will go to bills for their home, hotel stay, food, gas, and tolls while up with Mickey in Cleveland, Doctor and hospital expenses. Mickey is very stressed over trying to provide for his family and this is not allowing him to focus on his recovery.
With your help we can take that stress away so he can focus on his recovery! So please help by donating so we can have these bills all paid off by the beginning of February.
If you know Mickey, you'd know he's the most caring person who would help you out no matter what! Even when he was at his worst he was always thinking of his family first and his friends. He's one of the strongest willed men I know. When his doctors would tell him to stop working he'd still go so that he could provide for his family.
