Hey y'all! I’m Bekah Peake, Caitlyn’s sister, and I’m organizing this fundraiser in hopes to give her and Bryan some financial help in this time of need.

Caitlyn had a bad fall while visiting her husband's family in Ohio. Unfortunately, that resulted in breaking her elbow into multiple pieces and needing surgery. As most of you know, Caitlyn is a cosmetologist and specializes in cutting men’s hair at a barbershop in Summerville. She is out of work without really knowing when she will return. Her doctor originally said December 20th, but after surgery, the surgeon said it’s looking closer to January 19th. It truly depends on how the bone heals and how physical therapy goes in the next few weeks. The bone itself will take a full 4-6 weeks to heal. With this being so unexpected, she and Bryan are struggling to stay afloat with bills, medical bills, Adalynn’s birthday coming in December, and of course, Christmas.

Caitlyn’s insurance is covering very minimal expenses for the surgery and no coverage for physical therapy. Her surgeon bill was $78,000 along with regular visits, post-op visits, and her medical problems she had before this happened, which was expensive on its own. Caitlyn is getting short-term disability, but unfortunately, it’s nowhere near what she was making monthly.

Caitlyn and Bryan are being very vulnerable at this time and asking for help to cover medical expenses and other bills while she is out of work. She would never ask for something like this if it wasn’t completely necessary, and unfortunately, they really need this right now. Thank you, and please keep their family in your prayers.
