Family of 5 Impacted by Tornado

Easter Sunday morning, a tornado devastated Northern Louisiana, killing 6 people. Thankfully, my family’s life was spared, but their house was not. As my mother sat in her bathroom and prayed, my sister and her 3 children (ages 6, 2, and 1) had to literally run for their lives as the walls caved in on them. They huddled together in the closet trapped and praying. Thankfully a neighbor came in and rescued them, and all five made it out with no injuries, but we have lost everything, even both of their cars. 

We aren’t materialistic people and are definitely just thankful to be alive, but with three small children to tend to while trying to pick up the pieces of our lives, we are definitely open to any help we receive. Because of this we don’t have a particular goal inmind and encourage those to give what they can comfortably give, even if it’s just a prayer or kind word. We thank you all in advance.
