John Sanchez Funeral Fund

This morning, my friends and I became aware of the heart-wrenching fact that our dear friend, Johnny Boy, is no longer with us. He passed away, and the world lost a brother, athlete, scholar, son, co-worker, and gentleman. As close companions, we are devastated, but our woe is incomparable to the grief the Sanchez family is currently facing. In order to minimize the trauma inflicted by such a profound tragedy, we, John's nearest pals, are establishing this GoFundMe. Should you be kind enough to donate, your contribution would go towards making the family's financial burden more manageable.

Funerals typically run $7,000-$10,000. In their time of mourning, John's family does not need to worry about the cost, they need each other for emotional support. To make that easier for his mother, Mary Jane, and other kin, we are humbly calling upon fellow friends of John, and all compassionate hearts: please, do what you can.

I wrote this because I know John would do this for us all. That's who John was: not a best friend, but the best friend.
