My name is Susan and my mommy needs some help.
Hurricane Harvey flooded an already high maintenance non functioning house. My mommy lived in this home for 45 years. This was my childhood home. She raised me and my sister helped take care of my father for years while battling Alzheimer's disease all in this house. He passed away 7 years ago and since then she was diagnosed with diabetes, scoliosis and a herniated disc. She hardly complains and is always there whenever any of us needs her. So that is why I am asking for her. She is an amazing 72 year old women with a heart of gold.
Never had water ever gotten close to flooding. So as you can imagine...no flood insurance. She lives on a fixed income and is very frugal. Please help her get her life back on track as she moves to an apartment and then finds a small functioning forever home.
