Kya’s YWAM DTS, New Zealand

Hey everyone! I’m Kya, and I'm fundraising to go on a YWAM DTS outreach. A DTS is a Discipleship Training School that lasts six months. (This trip is from July 2nd 2023 to December 8th 2023) • 3 months are spent at a base camp, learning about God and developing skills to prepare for outreach. • The next 3 months are spent doing outreach in another country, where skills and lessons learnt during the training phase are put into action to help others and share the Gospel. This mission trip is important to me as I'm fulfilling a calling God placed on my heart a couple of years ago. It wasn't a big 'aha' moment but over time, I began wanting something more than what I knew, and amongst all the craziness of life, I felt God's peace to apply for this course. I’m so thankful I have been accepted into the program and to have the amazing opportunity to pursue God and serve others. These funds will be used to pay for both my training and outreach phase, covering accommodation, food, flights and other outreach expenses.
