As many of yall know, I was blessed with the most amazing sister-in-law, Ashlyn, back in April. Ashlyn had become a member of our family many years before they made it official and I am still hoping that she knows she made the right decision, even though she might just be realizing my family is cray cray. We mean no harm lol.

In August of 2024, and at 24 years old, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer. She had just gotten engaged, finished school, was planning a wedding, and devoting all of her time to her students. Did I mention she is also one of those under-rated heroes, a teacher.

Well fast-forward 6 months, February 2025, she was told she was cancer free and was in remission and she could finally start to live her life normally. Actually have fun planning her wedding and doing all of the things that comes along with that. She could start living her life again. And she did.

However, a few weeks ago, after a routine check-up, she got the news that no one wants to hear, "It came back". So now, after still trying to pay off the previous hospital/treatment bills, paying off a wedding, having house bills, car payments, etc., she is under an extreme amount of stress thinking about how they're going to be able to do this.

I started this to raise money to help Ashlyn and her husband, Grayson (my brother), with medical bills and household bills/needs. Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer is a blood cancer, which affects your immune system. And Ashlyn is a 1st grade teacher so with this cancer it makes it very hard for her to work and to stay healthy. She will start chemo and stem cell therapy in the next month and we are all so devastated and but we cant give up. Which is why I'm starting this page.
