Create time with my daughter

I didn't think it could ever happen to me, but it did. I am divorced, and get to constantly fight every day for normal time with my daughter.

I am a Father but fatherhood did not come easily. I have always wanted kids - five to be exact. I prayed often and intensely for the first two years of marriage. And then the moment arrived, we were pregnant. This was exciting and short lived as a miscarriage took place about 8 weeks later. The Dr. added that it wasn't a likely scenario to have one in the future. Still, I continued with faith and prayed even more intensely. I even accepted the idea of adoption. And then, a miracle happened. Eighteen months later we were pregant again. She was born into this world being captured in my hands - with the help of the Doctor. As I held her in my hands, I felt a surge of love and excitement ripple through my entire being. I was a Father!!!!

Eighteen months later my greatest fear had been realized, I was divorced.  I could not save the marriage so I decided that I would be the best Daddy on planet Earth instead. I would be engaged and give my daugher attention and presence in every interaction. To do this really effectively, I need time with her. Which I must create. 

I currently see her around 40 days a year which is about 11% of the time. One would seek to limit our time and connection together even more. I do not know why. I have exhausted all my financial resources in the last twelve months and need help.

This isn't anywhere near enough time for a parent with a child and we both feel the affects in our own ways from it. Keeping us together would give us the time that we need. It gives me the opportunity to be in her life and be a part of it. To tarry a little longer as it were. 

Please don't think that any amount of money is too small. Seriously, $5 is plenty to make a HUGE difference. You shouldn't feel you have to give any more than that. I believe there are enough people around us who care about this cause that with $5 each, we will surpass the goal easily.

We attend the Church in Venice, FL every other Sunday. Worship services starts at 10 AM and are held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If any of you want to come by to say hi to us or meet us, you are more than welcome to. 

The outcome of this fundraiser is to pay for the two motions in place that will create the time with my daughter that we need. Nothing greedy or selfish, just an equal opportunity to be able to raise my daughter and equal time to do it in.
