My name is Sarah Kelly, most call me SK. On August 20, 2017 I took on IRONMAN Mont Tremblant, 140.6 miles consisting of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike, and a 26.2 mile run. The conditions were amzing. My goals were big. And the day was perfect. My goal wasn't just to beat my previous IRONMAN time, it wasn't just to bring my clients and my new brand 18 Maple Endurance Training to the finish line, it was to do all of that and win my age group qualifying for the IRONMAN World Championships, the Superbowl of IRONMAN, in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
And, I did it.
I beat my previous time by nearly an hour. Both of my clients finished with hands held high. I proudly crossed the finish line wearing an18 Maple Endurance Training kit as the first place woman in my age group qualifing me for a trip to Kona and the IRONMAN World Championships. I am Kona Bound!
The miles logged and the sacrifices made to get me to the finish line were not done alone. I had many people help me along the way. To make my goal of racing along the lava field on the Queen K a reality I will continue to require help.
I consider myself a giver, not a taker, however the reality of living out my dream of racing on IRONMAN's biggest stage means I must ask for help. The anxiety of racing is only compounded by the cost of race registration, flights, lodging accomodations, bike transport, and a rental car.

I've been very lucky to been sponsored by Charter Oak Financial, Family Bike, and Continuum Performance Center. There contributions have made my racing season far less of a financial burden than it usually is but even still the expense of this ONE race is daunting.
My request for a donation, big or small, is not done lightly. I am beyond grateful for all that has been done and will continue to be done in an effort to get me to Kona. In return I will promise to give all that I have to make it to the finish line on Ali'i Drive.
