Help Josh Live

Hi, we are Molly Ritter, Simone Parsons and Kelly Cutts, we are fundraising for Josh Johnson and support of his medical expenses. Many of you know Josh personally or know someone that knows Josh. He went to Grant High School and has made friends and acquaintances throughout Oregon. As close friends and family are aware, Josh has been diagnosed with End stage Liver Failure, with ascites, a Hiatal hernia and esophageal varices. These diagnosis' have been devastating to Josh and those who know and love him. All together they have a poor prognosis. Although Josh has medical insurance, there are many things associated with this illness that insurance does not cover. A major item being the MAIN prescription that is keeping him alive and out of the hospital. This one prescription costs over $3000 for a thirty day supply. Without this prescription the ammonia levels build up in Josh's blood resulting in brain toxicity, seizures and possible death. Being unable to afford this medication, in the last month, Josh has suffered seizures at home, been hospitalized several times, placed in medically induced coma, and nearly did not make it out. Josh has a fighting nature and a will to live. Every penny adds up and he would be eternally thankful for any donation that may help him get a little more time with his loved ones.
