Any Little Helps

I’m not sure who knows what’s happened to Darren (our Blue Belt Darren, Kian and Lucas dad) but it was sudden and unexpected turn. He got ill with an infection that took hold and he couldn’t shake off and after a few days it went to his heart. Docs have since discovered that he has a condition on his heart either caused or highlighted by the infection and he needed Open Heart Surgery. Darren has been in hospital for a few weeks now and has since had his Open Heart surgery and is now recovering well in hospital still. Obviously it’s been a really worrying and uncertain time for the family so far…they seem to be over the worst news but not it’s a slow recovery over the next few months before he is back to action.

Unfortunately, Darren is self employed and as you can imagine cash flow is always a worry when something for this strikes. So we decided to do a whip round to see if we can help alleviate some of his and his families worries/concerns over this already highly stressful time!
