I had just put in for bereavement leave at work so I could attend my grandmother's funeral the next day (over zoom, since I already didn't have travel funds) only for someone to knock on my door asking me if I had a black Honda. The insurance company is willing to reimburse me for the tow and storage fees (couldn't get my door open, so I'm pretty sure it's not safe to drive) but won't pay the guy outright. Y'all, the combination of lyft and the train to get to work every day while they drag their feet is costing me more DAILY than I pay for gas every two weeks. I'm way too broke and definitely don't make enough to cover that AND keep my apartment. Please help in whatever way you can. Thanks!
