These 2 young people, Phil Greenberg & Barbra Greenberg-Carter are brother and sister and they have just suffered a loss that no children should suffer.  Both of their parents passed away within 4 days of each other.

On January 7th, Mom (Mrs. G) lost her battle with Lung Cancer.  While trying to get to the hospital  to say his final good-bye to his beloved wife of 58 years, Dad (Mr. G) fell and hit his head.  he fell into a coma then 4 days later on January 11th, Dad passed away.

This is an unbelievable but true love story. One dying and 4 days later the other one dies.  We know they are at piece together in heaven.

However, now reality is setting in and Barbra and Phil are faced with a unfathomable financial burden of burying both of their parents, something neither one of them are able to handle.  Their parents lived a very simple life and had nothing at the time of their untimely deaths.  They don't have enough money to help them bury their parents properly and Phil, who has been unemployed and been both of their parents primary care giver is being forced out of the 1 bedroom
apartment where he lived and cared for his parents.

Our hopes are to raise enough money to help pay for burial expenses and to help Phil and Barbra get on track with all aspects of what lies ahead.  Mainly to help Phil find a place to live, even it if it renting a room from some one and give him the financial abililty to give him time to find a job to continue paying daily living expenses.

We are so very greatful for any help that anyone can provide, we don't want to see it get any worse for them.
