We are young, driven filmmakers creating a film for our film minor. The film is called Hold Tight, an intimate drama we are working on with full dedication. We want to tell the story of a couple who have lost their child and explore how that loss affects both their relationship and them as individuals. This is a story that deeply moves all of us, and one we are committed to telling with detail, precision, and vulnerability.

The logline of our film:

Hold tight is an intimate drama about Lex, a man trying to save his marriage nearly a year after the loss of his child, while his wife Sophie struggles to let go, all within the walls of their home.

Why we want to make this story:

We feel deeply passionate about making a film centered on grief and connection. We want to tell a raw and honest story in a way that feels relatable and human. We are excited and determined to bring this emotional narrative to the screen. Perhaps people will recognize themselves in it, perhaps it will offer comfort or maybe it will spark meaningful conversations. Above all: we want to create a film that truly resonates.

What is our goal?

We have a big vision: we want to create a film that is visually powerful, emotionally sensitive and professionally crafted. Unfortunately, as students, we have a very limited budget. We want to give this film the care it deserves through the right location, props, art direction, sound design and post-production. But to do that, we need to increase our budget and that is why we are asking for help.

Even the smallest contribution makes a huge difference. Together we can bring Hold Tight to life in the way we envision it.

We zijn jonge gedreven filmmakers die voor onze film minor een film aan het maken zijn. De film heet Hold Tight een intiem drama waar we met volle overtuiging aan werken. Wij willen het verhaal vertellen van een koppel waarvan hun kind is overleden en het effect dat dat heeft op het relatie dat ze hebben en op de individuelen. Dit is een verhaal dat ons allemaal diep raakt en waarvan wij het heel graag willen vertellen in detail met precisie en kwetsbaarheid.

De logline van onze film:

Hold Tight, is een intiem drama over Lex, een man die probeert zijn huwelijk te redden bijna een jaar na het verlies van hun kind, terwijl zijn vrouw Sophie moeite heeft om los te laten allemaal binnen de muren van hun huis.

Waarom we dit verhaal willen maken:

We voelen ons heel gepassioneerd om een film te maken over rouw en verbinding. We willen een rauw verhaal vertellen op een eerlijke, herkenbare manier. We zijn erg enthousiast en gedreven om dit menselijk verhaal op film te zetten. Misschien zijn er wel mensen die zich hierin herkennen, misschien biedt het zelfs troost en misschien opent het een gesprek. We willen een film maken die raakt.

Wat is ons doel?

Wij hebben een hele grote visie: we willen een film maken die cinematografisch sterk, gevoelig en professioneel is. Als studenten hebben we helaas een zeer beperkt budget. We willen graag de film de liefde geven die het verdient met dingen als: een goede locatie, props, art direction, geluid en afwerking. Helaas moeten we daarvoor ons budget wel verhogen en daarom vragen we om hulp.

Zelfs het kleinste beetje steun helpt ons enorm. Samen kunnen we ervoor zorgen dat Hold Tight de film wordt die wij voor ogen hebben.
