Hi our names are Chelsea and Kate, we are close friends of the Grant family. We are helping raise funds to allow them to be by Charlie's side whilst he fights the battle against Brain cancer.

Charlie a brave 8 year-old boy from Lake Macquarie, he has been diagnosed with brain cancer. His journey has been filled with strength, hospital visits, and hope. This devastating news has turned life upside down for Charlie and his family. Charlie has already been through; Brain surgery, insertion of a port-a-Cath and commenced his chemotherapy protocol. His protocol is planned to take place over a twelve-month period, putting significant financial/emotional strain on the family. Through the toughest days, Charlie and his family continue to show unbelievable strength, courage, and resilience.

Charlie is an important part of the Catholic school community and has made a significant impact on every person’s life that knows him. He is only eight, but he carries a heart far bigger than his years—brave, bright, and endlessly kind. With eyes full of wonder and courage, he tackles each day like a little warrior, never letting fear dim his spark. His laughter still fills the room like sunshine through clouds, and his curiosity for the world remains unstoppable, even on the hardest days. He is loved fiercely—by Ryan and Carli, his sister Izzy, friends and by anyone lucky enough to know him. That love surrounds him like armour, holding him up when strength is tested, reminding him he is never alone. Whether he’s playing Fortnite, Minecraft, or just making jokes, he reminds us of what real courage looks like.
