Many of you know the Kratochwill family, Jerry, Kathy, Bradley and Sydney. You may also know that their dear daughter/sister "Syd" has been undergoing medical issues and treatment for Brain Cancer.
Syd is a witty, kind and gentle girl, who has just finished her freshman year in high school. She is a straight A student and is active in basketball and track.
My name is Janet McKay, and know the family through many years of cutting their hair. After many years, I see them as not only clients, but as friends. I myself am a parent, and cannot begin to imagine or understand the hardships that a family endures during such a serious illness.
Many of us are feeling at a loss as to how to help the Kratochwill family. Recently my husband and I donated to another family thru Go Fund Me. After seeing such an outpouring of compassion thru Go Fund Me, my hope is that the family and friends of Jerry, Kathy, Bradley and Syd, if needing to find a way to support them could look at this as an option.
My wish is to help raise money for a family vacation, or to just help with whatever Jerry and Kathy feel fit to put their donations towards.
The Kratochwills are a wonderful family! My prayers will continue for them all to have strength. And I thank all of you for your donations and kindness.
