My journey began in 2013 when I began to feel very lethargic, lumps started appearing all up my neck (swollen lymphnodes) and I was barely able to open my mouth. After trying multiple different meds Dr's decided it was time to admit me to hospital in Rockhampton Base where different specialists worked on me and a number of various blood tests were done with the only result they could find being Epstein barr virus. I was discharged after a week and kept going on with my life as normal. In January 2014 I had to drop back to part time work as I was not capable of completing a full days work and two months later had to give up work completely. I have since been working in our family business when I can to ensure I've got money to pay my bills. Finally in January this year I had my blood sent to Germany and was diagnosed with Lyme Disease along with multiple of the Co-infections of Lyme's. I now take 11 different medications twice a day along with having alternative therapy weekly. If it weren't for my parents I would never be able to get out of bed. My current medical cost is a minimal $300 a week. I am about to begin another type of therapy which has a very high success rate but unfortunately is going to cost $20,000. Every little donation will be a massive help. I cannot wait for the day I feel normal again, not suffering intense pain, having constant heart palpations, constantly feeling tired, being in moods of anger and depression and the list goes on..
