Right Hip Replacement Surgery

Officially diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2013, however experienced degenerative symptoms for over 10 years. Including inflammation in  my knees and ankles.  I don't own a car, so I walk everywhere, my legs and hips are my main transportation and unfortunately took the most toll. My most recent xray of my right hip displayed, "bone-on-bone articulation".  I have no cartilage between my hip bones and it is very painful to walk around and do normal activities.

 My hip has had problems for the past 3 years, when I was out dancing one night and my right leg slipped out from under me and caused the most excruciating pain, physical therapy helped some but the damage to that hip must have been going on for years before I was officially diagnosed with RA.  About RA
