On the road to recovery
Donation protected
On January 13, 2021, Josue had a car accident and suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). He was in the hospital for five months in which 2 of those months, he was in a coma. Although he was in critical condition, he beat the odds-defying doctors expectations.
Josue was an Honor Roll Valencia College student and a dedicated Wrestler.
Our family has been working nonstop with Josue's recovery, and this whole process has been painful and exhausting, but we don't give up.
Josue has been in Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy for 11 months (pictures below). He also goes to Neuro Acupuncture and Hyperbaric Chamber (Aprox $1,615 weekly not including gas and other expenses). Most medical insurance has limited coverage for this type of therapy, and we already exhausted the benefits a long time ago.
Thanks to the help of the people that has donated we have been able to help Josue keep going to therapy, buy equipment also to give him therapy at the house, medical expenses, gas, medication that is not covered by medical insurance. Sadly, all of this is starting to get limited for various reasons, there's only one source of income (dad is the only one working), mom stopped working to care for Josue all day, medical insurance is limited and coverage has already been used.
We won't stop helping Josue and he doesn't give up but we need your help to continue his road to recovery. God bless you and Thank You. Anything can help.
