Kim Stephenson Medical Bills
Donation protected
My niece, Kim Dillard-Stephenson, was diagnosed with stomach cancer a year ago this past March. Through faith, humor, love of friends and family, and the Grace of God Kim is still fighting her battle.
Kim’s workplace of nearly 25 years has gone above and beyond in helping her through the last year. Now her sick leave has run out and beginning in May Kim will be on disability and her health insurance (which covers Hannah and Cassie) will be COBRAed and she will have to pay $1,000 a month in order to keep it. She is still undergoing regular chemo treatments. Even though her parents have moved in with her to serve as caregivers, she has the additional need of a home health care nurse.
Despite all the setbacks and as she calls them, “bumps in the road”, she is still an encouragement to others. She sends cards to people who are sick or who just need a pick me up. I’ve never, over this past year, heard her complain. PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING A DONATION OF $25 OR MORE to help Kim and the girls. Let’s help her focus on her health and not on her health insurance expense.
There are no words to express how grateful our family will be for your continued prayers and support.
Blessings and thanks,
Barbara Jennings
