Chloe White is a freelance musician currently living in the lower 7th ward of New Orleans and paying all living expenses for herself and her elderly dog, Fifi. In April of 2023, she suffered a bilateral tear in both her ACL and meniscus due to a longboarding injury. She received reconstructive surgery on her left knee later that same year, but initially the nature of the tear went unnoticed, despite her making known difficulties of use with both legs; months passed before Chloe was able to receive the necessary operation on her right knee.

After a year of paying for previous surgical expenses on top of consistent physical therapy treatments, she may now have to take on another surgery bill due to chronic pain and a possible re-injury in her left knee post-surgery.

On top of this, Fifi has been suffering from kidney complications, and is in need of an MRI, and most likely further medical treatment.

Chloe is one of the most wonderful people I know. She is caring, incredibly curious, intelligent, and hardworking. She actively participates in her community to uplift others and has dedicated herself to her craft in a way that is deeply inspiring.

I truly believe she deserves, as any person deserves, to not be swallowed by the physical and mental tolls that injuries like these, and their subsequent costs, can take.
