Survivor of kidnap, rape & torture needs legal & trauma help

Hello,

I was threatened, taken and held against my will, beaten and raped and also badly injured falling whilst trying to escape from a basement room I was locked in by a man who was a stranger whilst I was visiting a friend in Asia.

The authorities and embassy have investigated this extensively and the hospital took DNA tests, blood tests and issued pregnancy prevention because of the rape.

I have memory loss of the events that happened, but the pieces which I do remember is harrowing and traumatising, which I am trying to process whilst also trying to heal my injuries that thankfully will not have any lasting damage, unlike the trauma that will.

To my knowledge the man will be prosecuted however I am seeking financial support for my legal representation as it was abroad and legal aid won’t cover it.

I am also struggling with housing in my home country and will struggle even more so now the trauma and injuries will stop me from working for a while.

I don’t know what else to say, apart from that I appreciate any help from anyone who is trying to help me.
