Michael's Cancer Journey

The Ouellette family has 6 children, several with special needs. The father, Mike, was recently diagnosed with stage 3B colon cancer and beginning January 16 will be undergoing a minimum of 6 months of chemo (a rotation of 2 weeks oral, 1 week infusion, 1 week off). All vacation and sick days as well as short term disability have been used for his initial surgery and recovery.  All days off after this will need to unpaid or with long term disability which is a significant pay cut.  


They have medical bills to pay, plus normal living expenses and the possibility of months with significantly reduced income.
